Two long years with Bright House and I still can't believe the sloooow "lag" when switching channels. (Direct TV for 8 years spoiled me. It was fast) Another irritating problem is dropped signals. It happens on HD channels and you get a message on screen telling you the signal is unavailable. (Sort of figured that out when the screen went black) Another bug is poor or low sound quality on some stations like TNThd and TBShd. (Excepr during commercial then blasts you out of the house) (Never had low sound problem with satellite. Yes, they did have loud commercials too) Biggest bug is lockup of cable box when switching from Brighthouse movie on demand channel to any other channel. If you enter the next channel it won't lockup but if you use the channel up or down button it will stall from 20 seconds to power off and on the cable box! Painful and archaic. Roadrunner (BrightHouse) internet also stalls/staggers and is good for a 12 second lull which they will blame on your computer. (No it isn't) I live in St Pete Beach FL and the choice in my area is them or them. Service contracts for cities are like monopolies in business, bad for the consumer. At least I know why I get free basic cable. Property owner probably gets it free also.
