Box rebooted on it's own

I was changing channels and then my box started to reboot on it's own. It's been like this for the last 10 mins and it's still trying to reboot.

So did it finish? What happened?

No it never did. I had to unplug it for a few mins and then I rebooted the box again then it worked.
