Sad news in the world of sports, as BMX legend Dave Mirra has died at age 41 from an apparent suicide.The record-breaking X Games athlete was found dead in his truck in Greenville, North Carolina early on Thursday. His death was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. According to sources, he had been in North Carolina visiting friends.This comes as a pretty big shock to his loved ones: just hours before his death, Mirra had posted a photo of himself and his wife to his Instagram account with the caption, “My Rock! Thank god.”
