In a statement sent to Cord Cutters News, Philo’s spokesperson said, “As of Friday, March 31st, Bloomberg News will no longer be available as a FAST channel on Philo due to Bloomberg transitioning the channel and programming. While we try our best to limit changes that cause a disruption in programming for our subscribers, there are occasionally unfortunate situations outside of our control. We continue to offer both BBC World News and Cheddar News as options for our users.”
Bloomberg News has confirmed to Cord Cutters news that Bloomberg TV will still be free and available to stream on their website as well as many popular apps. Bloomberg News declined to comment on why Bloomberg TV is leaving Philo.
