Bloomberg: Sony missed PS3 ship targets

Several industry analysts have come forward with the belief that Sony may have missed its shipment target by as much as 50 percent.

This is probably why no one can fulfill all of their preorders but have another shipment 25% of the size as the launch shipment, 1 week later.
