Where can I get details about this promotion? Can one of the DIRT members authorize this?
 
Yea so apparently the promotion we were told about ended 9/30 even though it wasnt mentioned on the page (that i saw) now did the rep tell me an expiration date existed. Awesome though. This is the reason i dont contact customer service they get your hopes up, then something changes and you get left with a salty taste in your mouth. I still enjoy my service just going to avoid the contact with the company part :p
 
I just today got a call from Dish to exchange my expiring free Stars for three free months of HBO and some other movie channel.

I saw that in my promotions make sure to cancel 12/31 or it will continue to bill you.(i assume their gonna snag 5.00 from me to drop it from my service) The plus to hbo and skinemax free is you also get to try out their streaming service which is pretty cool, and works on android.
 
I am told that this promotion does not exist anymore.

If I'm not mistaken there were advertisements about getting free blockbuster for a year, then again this service didn't exist until 10/1. It leaves more ??'s than answers for customers who signed up under the "other" promo.
 
Been a Dish customer for over 10 years and they flat out denied to give me BB movie pass promo/free at all. They told me that it was only available to new customers. ...Even the chat CSR in 'customer loyalty' said no, it would be $10/month!

You are only charged a $5 Programming change fee when you add or remove the same service within a 30 day period. If you have had the service for more than 30 days there is no Programming change fee to remove it.

i was kinda told the same thing. i have the free platinum and i asked about the 3 month and 12 month bb movie pass promo and was told i don't qualify
