I put up a thread talking about the biggest rags-to-riches single-season turnarounds in sports (Celtics, Rays).

Now, let's try the other side of the equation.

I'm looking for teams that did it the other way- from the top of the heap to the bottom of the barrel from one year to the next.

My nominee: the Houston Oilers, which went from 12-4 in 1993 to 2-14 in 1994.

Was the departure of Brady Quinn that big of a difference?

Quinn, most of the offensive line, WR, Walker at RB..... basically played last year with a mainly freshman Offense. Now its a mix of mainly Freshmen (true) and Sophmores. They should be pretty good within a couple of years..... can you say "Golden Tate"!!!!!!!!
