'Big Bang Theory': How should they write in Kaley Cuoco's broken leg? | EW.com

It sounds like this leg is going to be an issue for a big part of the season. Hopefully, they will figure out how to write it in, as I don't think the show will work long term if Penny is absent.

They canceled their next taping which was for September 28, and rescheduled another taping for December. It looks like the writers are rewriting the overall storylines, and will have to incorporate this into the show.

BTW, Kaley spent her fourth day in the hospital yesterday. Quite a long time for a broken leg. I hope she is getting better.

Years ago I spent a week in the hospital with a broken leg. They had to operate to screw the ankle bones back together, and then treat an infection.
