From my experience moving cards and stbs around between commercial accounts, Directv has the overall attitude that the CARD stays with the customer and will move it between STBS.

Dish has the overall attitude that the card is mated to the STB and will seldom move it another STB.

Anyone know for sure what BEV's general operational procedure is. I have moved a BEV from East to West to a different account without changing the card so I have to assume they follow the Dish operational procedure - but do not have enough changes with BEV to be sure.

Does anyone know what their policy actually is? Or is it they will take any customer with money and any card they can get :D

HDTVfanatic,

ExpressVU's view is the same as Dish's...... card is married to the receiver it shipped with. In the past they had no way of tracking it but now they do.

Thanks

That's what I wanted to make sure of.

I am discussing trading a BEV subscriber my old 6000 for his 6000 and whether to send the cards or not was the question at hand.
