Best Stacking Discounts available for New Subs. *premiums online promo*

So Im trying to research the best discounts available to new subs. According to Scotts post http://www.satelliteguys.us/threads/292495-What-is-DIRECTV-s-new-GENIE?p=2979127#post2979127 As of the 11th, the hr34 will become the genie and be free, and if im reading the post correctly, i think the discounts will be the same, just a cheaper install cost. I Know about the AAA and Referal discounts, and found the costco/target/sams club offers, but it seems aaa is the best at 10/mo over 20mo. sams comes in next at 10/mo over 12mo, and best buy, costco and target offer gift cards for their stores, mostly when buying new tvs. So my math tells me that aaa / referral discount is still the best offer. I do know this is done by playing csr roulette to get the referral added on however. So if we take the premier package, at 90/mo on promo, then sign up through aaa thats 80, add the referral at anther 10 to bring it down to 70. that would be for 10 months, when the referral drops off in mo 11, it goes back to 80 until the end of month 12, then i believe i would be looking at 110-10 for months 13-22, at 100 to finish up the aaa discount, and 119 for months 23-24. I think, anyone have other opinions?

streamlined

mo 01-10 $70
mo 11-12 $80
mo 13-22 $100
mo 23-24 $120

Yes I know this has been discussed numerous times, but promo's are time sensitive, I couldnt find any discussions relating to anything current.

I'm looking to jump ship and I think I'm going this route-
1.signing up at Costco.com gives you a $120 rebate card. You can also do the referral on their site for the additional $10 for 10 months.
Also keep in mind I'm looking at doing the Premier package as well and for the first 3 months you get an additional $45 off for the free premiums.
For me with the Premium package, referral from friend and their discounts plus all the fees for my receivers(1-HR34, 3H25's) I was only looking at $62.99 for the first 3 months and the $107.99 for months 4-12.
I'm going to wait and see until the 11th to sign up though, Im hoping the HR34 does indeed go to free which will save me $99

Yea i didnt add the extra 45 for 3 months on premier. The only reason I didnt like costco (well because there arnt any in my area) but also these are giftcards to stores, not discounts to the bill where aaa and sams club offer discounts off the bill.

Another thing I didnt include, I was only looking at base package price, dont forget your additional receiver fees, advanced receiver fees, mrv fee, etc. were still looking at like another 20/month in extra tvs. and hd. the hd would be discounted with autopay.

**Added info**

So a client just brought this up to me, and I did verify, aparently you can add hbo and cinemax for 15.99 for 3mo and starz and showtime for 12.99/mo for 3mo. Assuming these promos apply the same as hd extra pack free for 3mo which most of us know, you just remove and re add every 3 mo. You could theoritically grab the entertainment pack at 55/mo (off promo) then add all the premiums in for another 30 ish, and you come to 85. Altho this is just in theory right now, but any other thoughts?

Since I am new to this and a possible subscriber, I think there is a discount for ACH payment from your credit card. Also I was on DTv.com looking at the receivers and a pop up appeared offering $5.00 a month for 12 months. I believe this was on the notion that you continued on to place your order.

I dont like the new promo at all, i didnt see that extra 5 thing pop up today yet, but either way, using aaa+referal is still to my knowledge the best discount, someone correct me if im wrong.

I got the ad everywhere, must have been a "cookie"

The Best Buy gift card has no prerequisite, just get installed, Best buy is 10/12 and 150 a total of 270$ and perfect for christmas time, I work in the best buy.

Care to expand on this. See the 150 on the web site, what other hoops do you have to jump thru??

I ordered today, but Nadia on the phone said no stacking of AAA and referral discounts.I also got stuck with the $20 shipping charge.

I think the shipping charge is always added. I got the same answer about stacking AAA with the referal. Searched for the referal # and was told it would show up in 6 to 8 weeks. I did not see a referal credit on my first bill, so I might be calling back.
