I have a 322.I'm thinking about upgrading to hd.Would it be better to get a 211 and add the hard drive to avoid dvr fees, and then get a single receiver for the sd tv2.The dvr is not a must have so I don't want a 722 for the dvr fees.I intend to purchase so I'm not tied to a contract.

I agree. Makes no sense to get 2 receivers. Go with the 722. I don't think it makes much sense to purchase either, unless you are not able to keep your service for 24 months.

Yep...722. With 211 you would have to pay $40.00 EHD activation fee, and of course, the cost of an EHD.

I could not stand watching TV without DVR anymore.

DVR allows me to watch a Milwaukee Brewer game in 30ish minutes and a Green Bay Packer game in 20ish minutes.

I can get all my yard/house work done and still watch my teams. However, this year I vow to only skip through commercials and not from play to play for the experience of the game.

I'd go with the 722 for sho
