Best PQ for SD and HD between top 3

I'm trying to decide between DN, D and Voom for my new provider. All things aside like eequipment value, lineup, etc. do any of these providers offer a better PQ over another in SD or HD. I've been told that DN uses a more compressed picture than others so the SD PQ is not as good, any truth? Thank you.

I had Directv for about 5 years, and have Dish for the last year. I would say SD is the same quality. I didn't have HD with Directv so I can't comment on that, but HD looks great on my Dish 811.
