Hello All! First time post from a Bell TV subscriber here in TN. I've had a model 2700 in use for at least 9 years and receiving a great signal on an 18" dish pointed at nimiq1 until the recent launch of nimiq 4. Yes, I received and activated my new smart card earlier and everything was fine, but as of last month I stop getting ANY signal on any of the transponders. I thought the LNB might of went bad and tried to switch that out to no avail. Before I come to the conclusion that my receiver has a problem, is there something I'm missing concerning the recent sat launch?

I am in Nashville and receive 91W fine on the standard Bell Dish. There has been a small reduction on a couple of the transponders but nothing that would make it too weak for the 9242. When Nimiq 4 was launched I found I lost most of the transponders on 82W. I purchased a 76cm Winegard and all is fine again although the signals are not as strong as they were and I am sensitive to rain fade.

If you have a 2700, I expect that 82W is not even a concern for you as that is where most of the HDTV resides. I would check your alignment of the dish and cabling. You should receive 91W with no problems
