To the Canadian forum. That sucks! At least it isn't the 10% dish premium customers are seeing.
$4 is understandable comparing it to the $3 Dish Network increase seeing how Canadian money is worth slightly less therefore things cost slightly more so it would be about the equivalent of $3 U.S. dollars.

It does seem to suck because everything extra is more money on the monthly package. For example, to get NFL Football other than NFL Ticket (which is about $90.00), I subscribed to East & West feeds from Bell. This gives me Sunday NFL games on Global TV from Halifax to Vancouver, B. C., as well as PBS and Fox East and West feeds. It usually amounts to about a maximum of 5 games (but some Sundays only 2 or 3 games), per Sunday but you have to pay the extra $1.99 per month for this programing.
Also I've been thinking of dropping down my monthly Bell Package anyways because since setting up my motorized Dish in mid December, I'm spending about 80% of my time on it & I am enjoying surfing the different Sats on it.

I got that notice as well.
I called ExpressVu and spoke to a really nice customer service guy and said "I don't want to pay another $50.00 a year". He tried to get me to switch programming - in other words - drop some stuff ... kind of like robbing Peter to pay Paul. Did not seem to make sense to lose programming to not want to pay more. He understood, said that was the way it was and offered 3 PPV movies. This I declined.
So, I asked who I spoke with about cancelling service as I needed to know before going to the cable company.
I was transferred to the cancellation people or whatever ... their job is really to retain customers. I explained I was not going to pay any more, etc.
Okay, I know this is getting long but stick with it.
The fellow reviewed my account and then offered me a 10% discount for 12 months and would I be okay with that?
After we did the math ... guess what?
As of February I will be paying LESS than I am now! And, with no change in programming!
I obviously suggest that ou take this path ... took maybe 15 minutes but was well worth it!
