Experimental station WH2XDE/3 was heard here this morning on 1790 kHz in CW. Take a listen. 70 watts to inverted L antenna.
For those of you in Eastern PA (Bucks Cty), also listen for WQYV-920, a community-based ten watt station with continuous loop of info for residents of Quakertown, PA, on 1620 kHz. Heard here yesterday morning and this QTH is 25 miles away in a straight line. Not bad for a 10 watter.
Lots of interesting stuff just above the AM BCB. If you have patience you might even hear fishing buoys sending out their odd id's in CW, some even are heard in the 160m band.
