BDPS 550 or BD55 with my receiver

I've read so much about both my head hurts. I have an older Pio 5.1 receiver with 5.1 analog inputs. I'm leaning toward the Sony, but I've read about some issue regarding secondary output and having to manually switch it to get TrueHD and MTS. Now, does that apply to analog audio, or just HDMI?? Simpler question, which would be best for my receiver. TRY to be unbiased.

Both would work. I don't know if the Switching occurs over analog on the Sony, also. I do know that it doesn't matter what the settings are for analog with the Panasonic.

Unbiased enough?
