Maybe some flashbacks to explain some details, but the previews look like they'll be advancing the storyline further too. This being the final season, 20 episodes to tie it all up, they can't spend too much time on rabbit trails and back-stories...not unless it reveals something something crucial to the story.

Galactica should still have a fair amount of Vipers, Raptors and Pilots as when Lee Kamakazied Pegasus all of the compliment was guarding the fleet...

I know they were impacted by the writer's strike and (like many other shows), that brought production to a halt pretty quickly. I don't know if they're still filming or if every thing's wrapped and the episodes are in post-production. I hope they're not still filming, as I saw on the news this morning that there's a fire going on in Universal's back-lot soundstages... That's never a good thing...

Yeah,I was watching that on CNN.They said there was heavy damage & a KING KONG exhibit was destroyed.

Yep, and the Back To The Future stuff took heavy damage too, along with a soundstage.

100-foot high flames and it's all still smoldering 12-hours later...4 firefighters injured. That must've been one heck of a nasty fire...
