Banners now on Showtime?

Watching Penn & Teller and Fired! just now, I've seen banners promoting Tudors or some other such crap... during the programs.

This is a very bad thing.

Very bad.

It may be just a promo, BUT it's still an ad, and you can expect to see more and more of these annoying disruptions.

Don't forget -- they started by squeezing the credits ...

Thanks to PVRs they have to get creative in getting the word to you about new shows.....

Although if there are no ads, and we already subscribe, I don't understand the rush to shove new shows down our throat (unless they think we a re a hair trigger away from unsubscribing, and ONE more good show will tip the scales towards staying.....)
