Bad pansat 2700a.....

It looks like my pansat is starting to flake. After a period of continous use the the pricture will start washing out with pixilated effect and menu has a halo at the top. Anybody had the this happen before.

It sounds like your unit may be overheating. I would try putting it in an area that has sufficient air circulation to cool the unit. I have noticed my 2700's get pretty hot, I make sure to put them in a space with lots of air flow to cool them.

Make sure they get air circulation. I've had a few Pansats that woulod get warm too and do weird things. I have mine on top of the entertainment center

Yeah, I had it well ventalated. I did everything but put on a box fan to keep it cool. I've had for less then 90 day so well see how things work out......

If it is factory new, PansatUSA will warrant it for 2 years.
