I just in fact got off the phone with a guy at Dish one of their csrs and he said it is possible to obtain a device like a "descrambler" that can get or pick up distant networks. I might need a larger switch and an additional pole, dish lnbf type system but it is possible. What is this equipment called the box I mean? See I live in the inland NW and we are just inside barely the spot beam area for the Spokane, WA viewing area but I want the distant locals from like Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA and Seattle, WA and if possible even the Tri Cities. There is another bird out past the 129 that I think carries all these signals however at this current time I am clueless how to get them without the other dish set up and piping it into our switch etc. system. HELP!!! thanks. FYI Dish informed me it is perfectly legal to do this since I am a 250 top subscriber etc. and that the signals once obtained properly will just be right there on my guide channels line up thingy.
