I watched it last night. I have to say that it was OK but like most pilots it spent a lot of time giving you a peek at every character and trying to establish the basic tension between the principals.

The depiction of the weather forecaster was a bit too stereotypical and I wonder how far they can go with that. But I like Fred Willard and i am willing to give that cast and production team some time to see where they go.

Any thoughts?

I too though it was funny; and stretching to show us every character. I will watch again (its DVR'd) Does it seem like Frasier with a TV twist or maybe Murphy Brown, but lighter?

This sisworth absolutely nothing but I knew that i had seen the weather forecaster before but could not place her. Today a coworker mentioned that she was part of the supporting players on Blue Collar TV.

She was also Jeannie Whatley on "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" and Angela Moroni on "Days of Our Lives". She is also slated to be in 3 new projects:

# Play Dead (2008)
# Making It Legal (2008)
# Strange Wilderness (2007)

I saw this last night also.

I only gave it a chance because I like Kelsey Grammar and the woman from Everybody Loves Raymond. If I had just known about the premise itself and they weren't on it I would have probably passed.

But after watching it I thought it was just okay. Made me laugh in some spots which is good enough for me for now to bring me back for episode 2 next week.

Hdnet To Present "emergency In Darfur- Children At Risk"

What new shows will you DVR?
