Try contacting DrSat to see what is going on. He is the one revealing the clone distributors on the Canadian satellite site. If anyone knows what is going on, it would be him.

Even the update service for the MiniMe American edition is down, so if you have a problem with the box that option won't work if you need to do a recovery procedure

We will soon release a new miniMe firmware update now that our website is back online. Improvements will include better multimedia driver initialization so the audio chime is now only required when the receiver first boots. Switching from radio mode or standby will be faster as a result of this.
