Avatar?

I've been trying to figure out why my Avatar works at home on my Macs and Ubuntu machines but not at work on IE11. I get the broken graphic (

) instead. Other peoples' Avatars show up, but not mine. I don't know if it's .jpg vs. .png issue or a hosting web server thing.

If I view the URL for my avatar it says:

Scott's, on the other hand, doesn't look much different:

I had the same problem as Jim (Tron2012). I uploaded an animated GIF for my avatar for Christmas. It would work fine when I clicked my screen name and the box would pop up to show my info but in the threads it was static (no animation). I didn't say anything about it at the time but would have been nice if it worked.

No IE here (or Windows when I can avoid it). We run Ubuntu Linux 14.04 LTS and Firefox.

Not a high priority, but thanks for checking into this. I just thought it was odd that some avatars in posts were animated just like the user's profile while mine didn't work.

I rarely use IE (except for at work when I need to test browser comparability with web applications) so it's not just an IE thing for me. Mostly use Chrome and Firefox on PC, Chrome on my Mac, pretty much always at the latest versions.

Well, they just set up BOYD support at work so I guess I'll be using my MacBook from now on.
