autopayment late

I have auto payment set up, and my account is supposed to be hit with payment on the 2nd of each month.

Today (the 3rd) I receive an automated call from Dish saying my account is past due by the amount that was supposed to be paid on the 2nd automatically, and I will be charged a $5 late payment fee.

Call Dish and am told my account is set up on auto pay, but that the payment didn't happen for an unknown reason.

Is this a common thing?
 
At least one other has posted the same...about a week ago. You might want to send a PM to one the the Dish reps on here.
 
Thanks. Of course, to complicate matters further, my credit card was now just charged for a "one time payment" for the amount of the bill... and then AGAIN for the recurring auto payment. :(

Matt... I believe this was figured out on the phone. Thanks! :) I will let you know if it happens next month.
