I just ordered my SIRPNP2 w/ car dock on friday, got it on the 063 promo code, $142 for the receiver, car kit, and 1 year service. have not received it yet, but been planning out the install. I am planning on installing it on in a 95 grand am. i see no problem getting the antena from the top of back window, to the bottom, going under the weather stripping. my only thing is, how do i get it into the trunk from there? do i cut a hole in the trunk weather stripping? has anyone done an install on this type of car? any suggestions would be great!! also, links to possible site for install help would be cool too! thank you all in advance for the help.

Hey,

I actually installed my antenna on my dash. I suggest that you check out the signal before you do anything. It's easy, just plug in the radio power cord and antenna and see how many bars you get. So far, I've installed my wife's, my mom-in-law's and my PNP2's with no problem.

BTW, depending on where you are, the FM transmitter doesn't work great. I'm on Long Island (NY) and the 4 stations that you choose actually com in so I got alot of static. I fixed it with an FM Antenna Switch from Audiovox, it works great! Call them direct at 1-800-645-4994. They shipped it the same day. Costs ~ $20 with shipping.

Good luck!
