The "rumors" are true....we are delivering a signal to the Dish Network head-end via fiber. That was completed about 2 weeks ago. Dish network informs me that they are successfully sending our signal to their Colorado uplink facility and that they are in the "QC" (Quality Check) phase prior to launching our signal. I'm told it will be within the next week or two, but there is no specific date set.

Additionally, Dish Network tells us that we will be on the secondary dish at first as they have no space available on their primary dish. (An issue which we are contesting in conjunction with Congressman Bass' office). As for whether or not we'll be available "up North"...well, we're told (by Dish Network) that there are some techincal issues to work out on their end before they can make that available. Until then, you will only be able to see us if you already receive the Boston DMA television stations.

Keep an eye on our website for announcements about a launch date and initial coverage areas.

Thank you for your email....

Yup I know, figured it was worth sending an email to the station. Just to confirm the rumors I was reading over on DBSTalk.
