new post because of off topic tech. first, there is no such thing as a hd antenna. regardless what people tell you 300 ohm twin lead is not dead at all they are miss informed. coax is better for electrical noisy environments (shielded wire) only. twin lead wire is better than coax if electrical noise is not an issue.

coax house distribution amplifier: noise figure 3. use coax terminators for ports not used.

No kidding? My 75 to 300 ohm transformer is the non-electric version.
If I plug AC or DC into the connection it will damage the transformer.
Do you have a better electric one that you can recommend?

You do not realize sarcasm when you see it.
75 to 300 ohm transformers are not designed to pass power.
A DC block to isolate one would eliminate the electricity that you say is necessary to run at 75 ohms. On short cable runs it is seldom necessary to use a preamp (DC powered usually), so I question your very general statement.

WTF are you talking about?
You come here and just blurt out some random nonsense. Then when people ask for clarification you get all mad and attack people.

If you have something RELEVANT by all means post. but to say 300 ohm wire is better than 75 ohm is just nonsense. I dont see using 300 ohm wire for anything other than to convert it at the antenna if there are 2 posts instead of a coax plug on it.
