Originally planned for October 25, 2021, ATSC 3.0/Next Gen TV has been pushed back three months in Northeast Wisconsin (Green Bay/Appleton). The ATSC 3.0 host station is still going to be WCWF (The CW) 14. The station is one of many owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group that has been a victim of a hacking incident which involved a ransomware encryption, etc. The local CW affiliate, WCWF 14, will still be the host station during the transition to ATSC 3.0.
Here's how every channel in Northeast Wisconsin will possibly be distributed in a few months (starting in January):
* WCWF 14 (ATSC 3.0 host)
** 2.1 WBAY-TV (ABC)
** 5.1 WFRV-TV (CBS)
** 11.1 WLUK-TV (Fox)
** 14.1 WCWF (The CW)
** 26.1 WGBA-TV (NBC)
** 32.1 WACY-TV (MyNetworkTV)
Stations hosting ATSC 1.0 feeds for WCWF:
WBAY-TV 2
2.1 ABC
2.2 Weather
2.3 Circle
2.4 H&I
2.5 Start TV
2.6 Decades
14.3 Charge!
WFRV-TV 5
5.1 CBS
5.2 Bounce TV
5.3 True Crime Network
5.4 Rewind TV
14.2 Comet
WLUK-TV 11
11.1 Fox
11.2 Antenna TV
11.3 TBD
14.1 The CW
WACY-TV 32
32.1 MyNetworkTV
32.2 Grit
32.3 Court TV Mystery
32.4 Defy TV
32.5 TrueReal
32.6 Newsy
14.4 Stadium
14.5 Dabl
For some reason, our local NBC affiliate, WGBA-TV 26, did not want to host any of WCWF 14's subchannels in the ATSC 3.0 transition, letting their sister station, WACY-TV 32 host two subchannels.
