Time Warner, Charter ( still two separate apps), Century Link (Prism) and soon Comcast are already doing this at no charge on the Roku.


Yea it's basically an effort to go after cord cutters as they already have those devices.

I talked to my time warner rep, and they figure as this is a lower cost way to get video into the home without a box rental as the customer already has the equipment.

I would prefer to allow TiVo to make their own set top box that would work with both dish and directv.

The cable card model works very good with Comcast.
