I am going to install the 5-LNB dish as opposed to the SWM LNB. I know the instructions I have read state that it is "required to be used during the peaking process to ensure that the 101 and 119 satellites are located and peaked for maximum signal strength", but this is for the SWM. Is this also required for using the SWM-8? I do currently have the Accutrac Pro.

I am not an installer, but from what I have gathered, you should not need any special rig as you would put the Accutrac in line with the dish before it meets the SWM8. Hop over to the Installer forum and give them a shout for a faster answer.

and even when aligning a swim lnb, i just use the regular then swap the lnbs lol, saves time and running power to it. the dish never moves after all, the asl is just a waste of money to contractors...
