I can't see a single reason to ever go back to E*. I'm loving all the sports programming and next year, I'll have no problem forking over the $ for NFL ST and Superfan. But this year, it's FREE! Yesterday was my first experience with ST and I was blown away. They did throw in Superfan for free as a new subscriber and I love the fantasy features. Very, very cool.
I got a phone call Saturday from a CSR with E* wanting to know why I switched and I told her my main reason was NFL ST. Her response?
-Well, we tried very hard to get NFL Sunday Ticket a few years ago, but the NFL just wanted too much money for it.
It took some restraint not to call E* cheap, but I said "Well, that probably didn't work out very well for the company"
I also mentioned that I was disappointed that E* dropped MLB EI and had also heard that E* wasn't going to carry NHL Center Ice and she pretty much confirmed that they weren't going to carry CI this year, "but we should have it back next year!"
So no NFL, no MLB and no NHL on Dish? No thank you.
Can't wait for the launch of TBSHD and the upcoming MLB playoffs. Going to be sweet!
