Are Dish Network training classes free?

My supervisor asked me if I would attend one being held in Columbia, SC. I said I would go but do not want to. Not that I couldn't learn from the class, I just hate to take the time off. I had surgery two weeks ago and will not be able to work for at least another week. I do not want say I am not going if it something they have already paid for. Does anyone have any info. on this?

who is putting on the training? if it is a SBCA thing they are probably paying for it...
