Are all receivers compatible with Dish 1000?

Thinking of having the Dish 1000 installed to receive the balance of my locals & was wondering if my 4900 & 508 would receive & display 129.

Later, if I upgrade to HD, what will have to be added/changed, other than the receivers?

now if you had a 1000, 3000, 4000 or 5000, the odds might not be good

Same for the D-VHS and 7100/7200.

Would they also show "129" upon running check switch? I read that some receivers display the picture from 129, but do not show it when running check switch.

I am taking a guess that anything that works with a SuperDish will work with a Dish1000 and anything that does not work with a SuperDish will not work with a Dish1000.
