Are 625's in short supply?

I went to a local installer and she said she couldn't get 625s. She offered a 522 instead.

Are 625s really in short supply or is she just trying to unload some 522s?

Both the 625 and 522s are in incredibly short demand right now. It's definitely not helping things with E* I'm sure

all work orders have been changed to 625/522 sd-dvr installs for new connects at least in my area.

At my office, I have seen work orders built for 722 receivers with HD disabled to temporarily resolve this issue.

For a bit it was 722's instead of 625's, but now it's 522's.

Basic problem is we were supposed to be all mpeg4 by now, so 625 orders were curtailed. But then there was the loss of the satellite last year on the Proton rocket...
