I can take some when I get home. I spoke with VZW today for disconnect, it will go off my line on 12/3 with the next billing cycle (for activating 4G on another line). Wifi of course works fine now and I am going to factory reset it tonight.

Can it be activated and used on AT&T? I seem to recall reading some later iPad models allowed that.

Id be lying if I answered lol.

This is what I found

iPad Air 2

Like all earlier iPad models, the cellular iPad Air 2 model ships unlocked and with support for twenty LTE bands, more than any earlier iPad. In the US, this single iPad Air 2 supports AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

Specifically, the iPad Air 2 (Wi-Fi/Cellular) supports LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 38, 39, 40, and 41. It also supports CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and Rev. B (800, 1900 MHz), GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz) and UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz).

In the US and UK, if purchased from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller -- like site sponsor PowerMax -- the cellular capable iPad Air 2 also ships with a new "Apple SIM" that is designed to support multiple carriers via a single Apple-issued Nano SIM card, but in practice it has a frustrating list of limitations imposed by some carriers.
