The carrier's load factor or percentage of a plane filled with paying passengers fell 3.6 points to 59.8 percent. Apple Computer may be in focus after Merrill Lynch raised its price target on the stock to 44 from citing the company's discount to Dell. Atheros Communications lowered its third quarter earnings and sales forecasts citing customers working through excess inventories more than anticipated and driving down prices faster than originally planned.
