I see Ford on that list, so I assume they'll add whatever it takes to Sync.

It looks like a great system. I am sure Google will be hooking those same screens up with an android skin. As long as the hardware capabilities are standardized it could be a nice upgrade to have.

Only if it's a feature that can be toggles on and off. I had a jailbreak tweak that allowed for just such access, but always having the phone listening crushed the battery. Granted, I'm sure Apple can set it up to minimize battery impact (as opposed to code from some random guy), but I'd still want to be able to disable it as needed.

Nothing is worse than car navigation systems. I will buy one now if it include smartphone integration. I assume that Google will quickly follow with a similar announcement.
