anyone receiving bellsouth discount?

While I am currently a dishnetwork sub I am considering a move to directv. Bellsouth rep indicates I could receive $10 back on my bill by having both services. I wanted to check and see if anyone else is getting the discount and if so, how much? I am really liking to what i see of my neighbors new 80gig dtivo. Since Pegasucks is now gone Directv is looking better than before. Any info or thoughts would be appreciated.

I get a $2/month discount for having basic land line phone service with a long distance option.

The amount of the discount depends on the phone services that you are enrolled in. I am have their Complete Choice\Unlimited Long Distance plan for $54.99 and I receive $10 off my DirecTV bill.

If you go to their information page, you will see how much you receive in a discount.

how long did it take to get the discount, did you have to wait 2 billing cycles after you sighned up
