Anyone Really get S-2 on Viewsat HD

Does anyone really get S-2 on this VS 9000 box? I've been trying without much luck. For one thing, I can't find any "pilot on or off" setting. Have tried it on that AMC sat that has Ku network channels in S-2, nada

I wanted to do a "loop through" from my Sonicview HD box (no s-2 on it) and see if the Viewsat would bring it in. Should I bother?

I've been satisfied with the SV and not with the VS , Was hoping the supposed S-2 capability would redeem the unit.

Anyone? Fling it into the lake?

Go with the lake. I have the 9000 and to be honest I have more fun with my coolsat 6000. Other then the ota function for local hd stations it's a piece of junk.
