Has anyone paid for a dish lately....all I know most people are happy to have them removed, so I've got all may dishes (8) for free. Paying for a good receiver ok, dish no way. By the time you add shipping it's going to cost you .

I want it, has anyone ever had an experiences in buying stuff on craigslist from out of town and a safe way to pay and ship?

I never considered long-distance purchase of something like that.
As a pick-up, it'd be fantastic to get one new and still in the box.
I'd part with some money, if the dish were attractive (brand, condition, accessories, size, etc).
Beats the hell out of having to disassemble a 20 year old dish on site, with rusty bolts, & a yard of cement on the pole! -

But to buy something like that sight unseen?
And then pay to have it sent to me?
Besides, what're the chances the box would even be in condition to ship?

Looking forward to some good news on this dish.

I have bought other items from this guy, I live about 5 miles from him(drive past his house everyday) He is now a Ku installer(international stuff) I have yet to see the Box, but only the pole has been installed. He has what looks like a T90 now.
