This will restore BEAUTIFULLY (electronically. Physically very nice!)

Had to buy this...long story. Bakelite in very, VERY nice condition, motor runs, amplifier comes on and will need new capacitors and likely tubes....The Cartridge/pickup does make noise when brushed with a finger. In a nutshell, a very nice piece for someone's vintage display of old technology. I'm out of room and prefer radios to record players.

No cracking around the hinges, it's in REALLY nice shape, model 45-EY-3

I can package, and will put cardboard under the platter, padding IN the player cavity and package this well, or...you may opt to have professional shipping from Greenville, MI 48838 at the UPS store. (preferred.)
UPS STORE phone is: (616) 225-4623. Ask for Roberta. Tell her you're getting something from the "Ionia radio station owner" and she'll take good care of you, having shipped delicate things in the past. It weighs over 12 pounds before boxing, probably around 15 to 16 with GOOD boxing to your zip code.

Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree posting vintage electronics here, BUT..Satelliteguys are good buyers, and seem to have many hobbies extending beyond our dishes! Please PM me with any questions, asking $79 plus actual shipping costs, (to us) or...$79 to us, and we'll deliver this to the UPS store at no charge where you make your own arrangements!

Other "interesting" things may be put here soon! Time to clean out engineering and storage at the ol' radio station! PM for payment information, please.

It's a solid state Zenith, probably nice sounding when fixed, but not worth the price of shipping! You can find those at almost any thrift store now...it's actually scheduled to be "tossed" by our engineer....I use his bench for "sale" pictures. The radio got shoved on him at a sale we attended where I picked up my second laserdisc machine. If you seriously WANT antique radios to restore or use, PM me your interests...I've been thinning out my collection of "stuff" and some of it is on craigslist locally. Getting sick of Ebay issues, but still I use THEM when I know I can make a few bucks.

I've hesitated to put the antique stuff up here, but maybe I should! There could be interest by Satguys in old technology for restore or display!

Radio, I think it's a great idea to list any classic/antique radios. I love the old equipment and have started a small collection of my own. I'd be interested for sure! :)

Yes please post it here first you may be surprised.
I myself collect a lot of old tube radios. Mostly mine are shortwave receivers and transmitters.

The only such I have is a Kuba console, partially working. Radio, SE, turntable. I used to use it, long ago. Built I Germany, IIRC.

What I really wish I had were some of my father's old radios. Worked fine but he couldn't get these big batteries for them anymore, so....

Many times you can series/parallel today's batteries to make radios work. We did that with a Field Strength Meter for WION, couldn't get the 67 volt battery anymore, but a bank of 9-volts worked GREAT and it spec'd up to standard against a newer box! Haven't heard of Kuba, but Germany had names like Grundig (the original, not the junk of today) Emud, and others.

you could also gbuy or make a power supply to replace a odd voltage for a tube radio.

my best buddy did that after deciding the batteries were too costly

I myself have a big console radio picked up at a garage sale we were passing on the way to rogers ohio flea market.

it played fine last time i plugged it in, and it was unrestored. caps all appeared ok and original
