with IPTV International sites such as overseatv.com and www.iptvanywhere.tv?

those sites were very interesting...when will something pop up like that were I can watch UK TV via an IP connection.

I emailed overseatv, and they indicated a UK TV package was under consideration, but no definite plans.

I've tried itvn.com. Works fine technically, but too many repeats.

I just signed up for the Italian package at overseatv.com, and it works great. I get 8 channels that I could not otherwise get for 19.95/month. My only complaint is that the content is DRM encoded, which makes it difficult to record anything. And their dedicated unit does not offer any DVR capabilities. With the time difference, this makes it difficult to watch anything.

That sucks. You might want to try this. It's the Sima CT-2 video signal processor, I got one on Amazon for about $65. It allows me to backup protected contect, I imagine it works with broadcast as well. There may be a newer model out now.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm using the online plan now, but I'm thinking that maybe if I get the box, I can setup a DVR to control the box and record the shows. This device will come in handy if the content outputs on the box are protected.
