Anyone have a Coolsat 8100HD?

I'm trying to get a Coolsat 8100 HD running again and those that have replied to me only have the 8000. It's not the same and so there are differences that we haven't been able to overcome.

what differences ? they are the same except the 8100 has pvr capability.

The 8100 uses a USB to dnld into it & the 8000 doesn't.

The file that has been posted here to update hasn't worked. I've talked to both Iceberg & brentb636. Both have the 8000HD so they can't say that the file will work for sure. They both think it will but it doesn't seem to. That is why I'm trying to find someone that has the actual 8100HD.

ill look for the 2025a file and loader when i get home. did you unzip the file before placing it on the usb drive ?

yes after unzip it had a file ext of sgn.

thats proper. how does it fail ? there is also a cleaner file that removes hackware remnants i believe. ill look for that too.
