Anyone ever find a message in a bottle?

I found one today at the beach in a coke bottle from mexico but the note is severely damaged by water, still its the coolest thing I have ever found at the beach so far.

So you can't tell what it says at all?

I haven't taken it out of the bottle yet because it looks like large chunk oatmeal though some of it is still intact and I can see lettering through the paper. I'm debating on the best way to get it out without the rest of it turning into mush and have entertained for a moment the idea of offering it up to the local ITT criminal investigations training lab as a project to see if they could piece it together.
