Anyone else with remote problems with 211?

My week-old 211 is already having problems with the remote. The remote doesn't work if it is more than 2-3 inches from the receiver. I thought it was weak batteries so I replaced them with brand new ones but no cigar..Tried the TV1 remote from my 622 - same thing (Only works from 2-3"). Both remotes work just fine on the 622. Any ideas??

Called Dish tech support and they are sending me a replacement....
