Not that I want to cut into GloryStar's business model, but any MPEG-2 receiver (Coolsat 7100 is a good DVR) will get the channels. Just point at 97 and 101 and do a scan.
The Glorystar DVR1100c system will cost $289.
Will this receiver be the only one that can display the EPG information, when available, or will the Mercury II be able to display the EPG information?
I never said another DVR would support all those features, obviously GloryStar is doing a "value add" with their stuff that makes it well worth considering.
I would hope they choose to use the DVB standard for EPG which means that any box would support that feature.
This site has the DVR at $119.95. But I wonder if that is sans the Glorystar firmware, etc.?How much will the non-DVR cost?
