Any Samsung 2500 owners out there ?

I'm considering buying the BDP-2500 and I'm looking for some input from owners. I've read that it has a lot of problems with freezeups, getting locked up with the latest firmware upgrade, etc. If this is true, I don't want any part of it. The main reason I'm considering it is because of the price and the excellent upconversion. Thanks.
