I contacted E* and they said I would have to go through a local retailer to get the 721 deal, but none of my local retialers seem to work with or even know about the 721. So I may be forced to buy mine through an online dealer

Anyone know of any reputable online dealers that would offer installation

I just checked your profile - from your occupation and the fact that you've already got a bunch of receivers, you are probably capable of doing the install yourself.

Biggest hurdle might be the vintage of your LNBFs & switches. I don't remember offhand which setups work with the 721. Reply with everything you know about it, and I'll bet you'll get the help you need. Biggest thing is whether you have DishPro or not. Look for the "DP" logo on the equipment.

Given that you have 5 receivers, you've definitely got some sat feed hardware there. :)

I have 2 DP 34 switches and 2 DP 500's LNBs (I am a must carry customer, so I have a dish aimed @ 61.5).

Running the 2 lines needed for the 721 and attaching them to the DP 34 is not an issue, it is just having the time to do it right now.

I am also trying to find a retailer to sell me a 721.
My original retailer doesn't do Dish anymore. And Dish csr's say I have to get it from a retailer as they no longer sell them directly.
Can someone recommend a retailer that is willing to do this promo?

Sounds like you know what's what then.

Sorry - no idea where you'd find an installer in MO.

Is it even worth getting the 721 or should I just opt for a 510 ( I just don't like paying $5 VOD per month for it)

For the same price as the 721, I could also go to ebay and buy a 508.

really need advice on 811..............
