Now that Ciel-2 is blasting away, what are the chances of the PI programming from 129W changing? I don't recall the criteria for PI channels, but if it is a percentage of channels, then that could be a factor.
I know Public Interest channels are of very little interest in comparison to all the HD LiLs lighting up and the gradual addition of National HD. Even so, there have been countless threads on Eastern Arc, Western Arc, and HD programming, but discussion (if any) about impacts on PI carriage requirements have escaped my attention.
A quick solution would be to mirror programming so that equivalent channels are available on the sats (i.e. the differences between 61.5 and 129 PI channels). As a member of the armed forces, I occasionally watch the Pentagon Channel and would appreciate it being offered from another location in addition to 61.5.
