I know your Volunteers suck this year Charlie, but that's no reason to punish every other college football fan.

I predict Disney will be selling off ABC/ESPN in the next two years. REASON? Operation costs.

I predict that we will get ESPN-U HD when we get Disney HD, Disney XD HD, ESPNews HD and ABC Family HD back. I also predict it will be SOON.

I could possibly see them selling off ABC, but ESPN gives them too much leverage to sell. With ESPN they can force carriage of all their other channels nationwide. ABC only affects a few markets by comparison.

It would be nice if it happened "soon" I'll believe it when it and if it actually happens; until then we'll enjoy games on ESPN-U in beautiful SD.

I just got ESPNU last week and can't believe how bad SD could be. I switched from the Absolute package just to get the RSNs and knew they would be a mixed bag and figured I could tolerate some SD by watching it on my smaller 32" LCD, but again the worst SD imaginable on Altitude and Fox Sports.

If Dish needs the bandwidth I'll be glad to give up about 190 of the other channels I don't watch.
